MDTC launches Wiser Choice 2005 Survey

The Party of Ideas

You've heard Republicans call themselves "the party of ideas." Some ideas: Massive debt financed by China, a terrorist-breeding quagmire in Iraq, international scorn and derision mocking our country, ever more costly healthcare for ever fewer families, stagnated wages, dirtier air, more polluted water, policy by radical ideology and self-styled "faith"... these are the fruits of their ideas, bad ideas.

Democratic ideas come straight from the grassroots. They're American ideas: A safer world through strong defense and international alliances. Balanced budgets at all levels of government. Fair distribution of taxes. Prudent investment in the future -- infrastructure, education and science. Better jobs, working conditions, wages. Affordable, quality healthcare. A sustainable environment that we can be proud to pass on to our children.

YOUR Ideas

Now, here's a chance to register YOUR concerns and help shape them into action: Simply fill out and submit the Wiser Choice 2005 Survey. But that's just the beginning...

In September Wiser Choice will sponsor one or more public meetings where you can discuss your issues with panels of experts - get better facts, sharpen your thinking. But don't stop here...

In October, in a town meeting forum, Wiser Choice will ask each 2005 gubernatorial candidate to respond to the issues that you, that is, we the people, have raised through the Wiser Choice 2005 Survey. Plan to be there.

Now, in November, when you enter the voting booth, feel confident that you're voting for the candidate and party that best represents the way you look at the world.
